I hope you're having a great summer! It's been a pretty crazy one here with water shortages and wildfires, but we've got some rain at the moment which is very welcome!
I've got some progress updates this month's newsletter.
First up is writing. The first book of my next entirely new series is away for developmental editing at the moment, and the fourth Wolf of the North book will be following close on its heels. What a treat it's been to hang out with Wulfric, Jagovere, and Enderlain again!
Then there's also my long awaited Irish mythology themed fantasy, set in an entirely new story world. It needs a little more work (only a week or two) so will be away for developmental edit shortly after Wolf 4!
I know it's been a while since my last release, but it's pretty exciting to have so much work at an advanced stage! I'm really looking forward to sharing it all with you! I just hope I can remember how to upload stuff to Amazon!
Next up is Patreon. It's taken me longer to get this up and running than initially planned, but I wanted to have a big buffer of material prepared before I launch, and I'm pretty much there. Come hell or high water, I'll be launching in September and finally unveiling my Axes & Ale Mugs serial, accompanied by its audio narration by yours truly! There'll also be a lot of other fun stuff in there too - videos, graphics, and such - but more on that closer to launch!
Finally, Kickstarter. For those of you who backed the Society of the Sword Kickstarter, the printed copies are on the way to my fulfilment partner as we speak, so they should be getting sent out to you all pretty soon! (How long does a ship take to cross the Pacific?)
To coincide with the release of Wolf of the North 4, I'm going to be Kickstarting deluxe editions of the original 3 books, the first of which will be happening this autumn, so keep an eye out for that. We've started on the art work so the wheels are already turning!
Ok, that's about all I've got for this newsletter (which was supposed to go out in July, but hey ho!) I'll be in touch again at the end of the month with more details about the Patreon launch, and all the goodies I've put in there.
