First off, as you may or may not have known, The Wolf of the North will be available to buy on 12 October (next Wednesday). It’s taken a bit longer to get to this point than I had planned, but hopefully it will be worth the wait! There’ll be a couple more updates here, including an excerpt, between now and then.
I had a map made for The Wolf of the North, by Robert Altbauer, who also did the Ostenheim city map that you can find here. You can see more of his work over at fantasy-map.net. The map will also be in the release editions of the book, but I wanted to share it here because I love looking at it!
Great book! I look forward to the next one! Thank you for writing it!
Hey Jeff, I’m really glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for letting me know! If you have the time, please consider leaving a review – it really helps me out!
Hi Duncan.
Read Wolf of the North and found it amazing. Now started Tattered Banner books. Just wondering – how is the timing of the two cycles. Are they set during the same time or is one set earlier than the other?
Thanks
Line
Hi Line,
The Wolf of the North trilogy is set about 10 years after the Society of the Sword trilogy. Hopefully that’ll become clearer in the next two books, when Wulfric gets out into the world a bit more!
Thanks for getting in touch,
Duncan
Love the books and stories there in! I found this site looking for a possible map. Which luckily there is one. Only it seems to only be a partial one missing the land on the other side of the sea. Or I haven’t found it as of yet. Thank you for the great and engaging stories.
Ah ha,other maps found. I should have looked a little harder before committing before a better look around the site.
Glad you found what you were looking for in the end! Reminds me that I need to get some of them updated!
