Hey everyone,
I’ve been meaning to put up a Christmas post for a little while now, but have had the flu and haven’t gotten around to much of anything that I’d intended to do (including some Christmas shopping!).
First off, as I’m getting asked a lot, book 2 of Wolf of the North is on target for an April 2017 release. As always, the best way to keep informed is to sign up to my mailing list, which you can do here: https://www.duncanmhamilton.com/join-my-mailing-list/
Anyway, I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas (and a happy New Year, if I don’t get around to posting again before then!)! I also want to thank you all for your support over the year – without you guys, there would be no books! Words can’t express how much I appreciate you all taking a chance on my work.
I couldn’t find any good videos or images this year to inspire some Christmas cheer, so I am unashamedly recycling this one from last year! I hope you like it (again!).
Hope you’re feeling markedly better — the flu is never pleasant, but even less so during the Christmas season.
Although I’ve already read, and become enraptured by, The Wolf of the North, I viewed the trailer just a few moments ago. As one who embraced the hinterlands of Alaska as my new home several years ago, I truly appreciate the bright Northlands spirit so well evoked by the videographer. The opening scenes of snowbound evergreen forests and mountains look like the view from my log chalet, but what really nailed it is the Aurora — a sight in which I revel all winter long, but which never fails to mesmerize. The Wolf of the North feels like home — I can feel Wulfric here, and the energy of Jorundyr and Ulfyr all around me. Thanks so very much for keeping it real!
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
Hey Elisabetta,
Flu is all gone now, thanks for asking! Glad you enjoyed the video, it was a lot of fun getting it put together. I hope you had a great Christmas, and a very Happy New Year!
